Laughter Workshop
Great for relieving stress - lowers the level of cortisol which is high when stressed, preventing the body from carrying out its normal functions.
A laughter workshop can be challenging if you're not used to it. It can pysically make your tummy and face muscles ache and toned. It can be very tiring as you burn up more energy than you are used to and as your immune system is stimulated and a detox starts to take place. It can be challenging to the psyche as you stretch your comfort zone and interact with others in a so far unusal way.

Simply a feast of yoga!
There will be time to anatomise some of the more common postures to help deepen practice.
We will look at alternative postures for development and counter poses for balance.
There will also be time for relaxation (savasana), breathing (pranayama), and some mind quieting meditation.
For those who like more action there will also be an interlude of some flow yoga that can open up a whole new stimulating experience!

It's known as the quiet practice - with postures adopted for longer periods while you relax more and breath with sensitivity - this brings a more effective stretch especially of the soft connective tissue and can be beneficial for any yoga posture development.
Yin yoga is not a restorative style and we do intend to stress the body a little to improve efficiency but it is diverse enough to suit most anatomies and there are posture variations to help the less flexible or prepare you for more challening poses.
The style requires less energy so popular with those with low energy levels.
The day is mostly practicle with an early gentle flow leading to deeper practice in the afternoon and relaxation and meditation to close - orbiting energy in the next w'shop.
